Lifesaving protection for conflict- Affected communities in eastern Ukraine (GCA, Donetsk and Luhansk regions)

Provide access to information on protection against various types of violence and risks connected to mines/ERW to children affected by the conflict and enhancing self-protection and self-preservation skills and their ability to live safely in the area of residence. Ensure direct access to basic sanitation and hygiene needs and increase a positive coping strategy among the most vulnerable groups (female-headed households) through support for hygiene kits.

Protection from and prevention of SGBV and monitoring of the situation in Collective Centers in Sviatohirsk

Management of individual cases for SGBV survivors, including providing psychological and legal support to survivors of violence and those at risk of SGBV. Providing a big range of assistance to IDPs displaced due to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Cooperation and capacity building of various local governments and state institutions, including the Directorate General of the National Police of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, Departments of Social Protection; raising awareness about the protection and response to various cases of SGBV among the population with the help of various educational trainings and activities.

Protection from and prevention of SGBV close to the contact line

Raising awareness about protection and response against SGBV among PoCs; creation of a culture of absolute intolerance to domestic violence; increasing the role of the organization at the level of the GBV Sub-Cluster and the impact on the development of gender policy at the level of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions. The project aims to build the capacity of NGOs, local communities and government agencies responsible for the prevention and response to SGBV cases.

Integration Support and Protection of Women’s Rights of IDPs in Slovianskyi and Lymanskyi Rayons of Donetsk Oblast

Implementation of psychosocial and legal support for IDP women from Slovianskyi and Lymanskyi rayons who survived hostilities and were in difficult life circumstances due to moving to a new place of residence, as well as women, both local and IDPs — potential survivors of gender-based violence, by conducting joint comprehensive activities on informing, psychological relief and protection of the rights.
